I just bumped into this bug after installing Kdenlive from Flatpak.
Attempting to launch Kdenlive resulted in the error...
kdenlive ldconfig failed, exit status 256
Solution from post#5 allows launching.
This is on 24.04.2 LTS

Workaround from comment #5 fixes the issue! In my case I had installed
"Vice 64" and got the related error. The steps illustrated in comment
#5 resolved the issue for me.

8 months later and still no fix. None of the Gnome apps seem to install
without giving this error. As a new Ubuntu user this is... disappointing
to say the least. Discouraging.
