I have also just noticed this bug in Hardy Heron.
With Evolution closed, I create new IMAP folders (using Thunderbird,
which I then close).
Afterwards, when I open Evolution for the first time the folders are not
there in the sidebar. Refreshing any of the visible folders or
sending/receiving mai

To get folders listed. I Have
Start Evolution,
Check new mail and refresh folders ( right click on folders )
Close Evolution
Start Evolution.
I don't know if I use subscriptions or just list everything on the
server.

Thank you for your bug. You wrote that you create the folder while
evolution is closed and then that it's there after restarting evolution.
Do you have to start it, close it and start again to get the folder
listed? Do you use subscriptions or just list everything on the server?
