This is indeed very strange. From different Ubuntu LTS versions which I am trying (Focal, Jammy, Noble) only Noble seems to have this problem. Obviously I can move everything from / to subvolumes like @ and @home myself with a couple of manual commands, but this makes it all so much more difficul
