It just happened now...
When this happened, I had right clicked on a misspelled work in a
Firefox text area. I didn't get a popup context menu; I thought it was
just Firefox acting up.
So, I switched to my open Gedit window, to cut the correctly spelled
word from my text document, and the context
Do you have any gedit warning/error in the journalctl log when the
problem stats? Could you try without the extensions you are using to see
if that's due to one of those? (or maybe try disabling a few that are
non essential to you)
