on gutsy? Do you use a local calendar or an internet one? Do you get any
error when trying to add an event?

Thanks for the response. Sadly, I am not a code geek so I cannot use the
info. I have gotten on answers on the forum though, so I thought I'd try
this way. In case there is a true bug and it's not user error. I have
checked and re-checked preferences and settings and it happened all of a
sudden wit
