As a workaround I have created the file
`~/.local/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-3.0/gtk.css` which gives the active
tab a darker background color:

Oh ok thanks for the information. I hope it gets fixed as its becoming

Current Tab in Gnome-terminal does not g
Current tab highlight works on theme high contrast, other themes do show active
tab, but with very thin lines
that its almost confusing wich tab, no colours
