you should really bug upstream about it, since dapper is in freeze now,
this will not get added to dapper. Anyhow, upstream is really a better
place to talk about things like that

I think this is a pretty essential feature. I think a modern gui-based
OS *should* have this. (not that I'm critizing anyone; I just think this
should be raised up the priority list.)
