Hi,
I will try when the hardy beta comes out, but currently yes, it is an
issue with the gutsy build. It happens when I progress video but then
take the mouse out of the progress area while the button is depressed.
I will write another email when I upgrade to the beta in a week.

The cursor still following the mouse is a known GTK issue, does the
other issue happens on any video?

I installed gutsy this morning and this is happening with me also and
that is the time bar get stuck with the mouse even after we release the
mouse button.

Thanks for your report. Are you using totem-gstreamer or totem-xine?
Does it happen with all kinds of files (ogg, mpg, avi, etc) ? looks like
a dup.
