This bug is still active in ubuntu 16.04.
The same holds for GM's comment on Gnome documentation.
I really wish all this can be fixed and customizing shortcuts in evince will
be as simple as any other viewer (eg, okular).

wich is, by the way, the documentation that I'm redirected to when I go to
"Help -> Help -> Keyboard Shortcuts" in Evince 3.10.3 (latest) itself, I don't
see
