Just encountered this bug in the current Hardy release candidate. The
posted patch is the obvious fix and I confirm that it works (though I
did not apply the patch but added the line manually).
Please fix this.

Yes - still present in release gutsy.
I think this should have a higher priority as there is no way to close
the dialog without resorting to identifying and killing the process from
the command line.
