My apologies for not seeing 123051. That makes sense as a fix to me too, and I can see what you're saying if the application itself has "NO" control over placement. I'm afraid I'm woefully ignorant of Gnome, and just figured those things could be quickly specified with two point coordinates. Tha

We will not change the behaviour, marking the bug "Won't Fix" again, no need to change the setting you will not convince anybody to do the change by doing it. As explained before the new dialog location is decided by the window manager, that's not something the application is doing. There is no cod

I just reaffirmed I CAN cancel a write using the sequence I describe. I have already reaffirmed this many times on both Feisty and Gutsy under both the primary burn AND under the subsequent n+1 disk burns. Please spend the time to go through this bug more carefully. If you are not seeing the can

Doing several quick clicks on the button doesn't trigger the cancel action. The new window location is determined by the window manager and not the software itself, changing the behaviour would mean using an ugly workaround. Closing the bug as "Won't Fix", nobody else opened bugs about that dialog

Here I disagree. This is exactly the kind of user story you need to talk about with interactive user interfaces. Even when a user is not expecting to hit the button over and over again, there is a possibility the user will accidentally hit the mouse button twice. If you examine the location of
