I've tried it here on Feisty and Gutsy as well and it works fine on
both. I've used the attached file and others renamed to %something.pdf.
I even tried setting the desktop locale to Russian as in your
screenshot. Still works. Could you try these documents on a different
machine?

Thank you for the update, a screenshot is not an example though. Do you
have any pdf you could attach to bug that triggers the bug? Also use
"unconfirmed" when you provided the information, "confirmed" should be
used when somebody else confirm the bug, which has been the case yet

Thank you for your bug. That works fine on my desktop. Does it happen
with any pdf? What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have evince-gtk
install on xubuntu?
