Some messages get when gedit hangs
(gedit:4602): Gtk-WARNING **: drawing failure for widget `GeditView':
out of memory
(gedit:5089): GtkSourceView-WARNING **: Could not find word to remove in buffer
(HYDROLASE), this should not happen!
(gedit:5089): GtkSourceView-WARNING **: Could not find word
I also have this problem, so, apparantly, its not unique to
aloctavodia's system. Ubuntu 12.04, gedit 3.4.1, amd64 processor. Let me
know if you'd like more info and how to generate it for you.
Specifically, I was looking at several .doc files, none of them massive
(less than 200kB).
