I tried this out with Oneiric, and I didn't get that error. Instead, I
got a whole bunch of other errors. EOG worked just fine, despite all the
error messages. I've attached a log of the new errors.

I agree with psarhjinian. This pretty clearly meets the criteria for a
papercut.

I'm using Nautilus 2.28.1 on Ubuntu Karmic. When I attach my external
USB drive, Nautilus automatically opens up a window displaying its
contents. The problem is that the window opens in the foreground but
doesn't have focus. I mostly use the key
Switching the default scrolling method to two fingers only solves this
bug if users stick with the default. I have some fine motor control
problems, and I find scrolling using two fingers more difficult than

I usually use the spacebar to scroll down in evince. But if I press the
spacebar immediately after evince starts, it hides the sidebar instead.
Since the first thing I usually want to do in a document is scroll down,
this is an annoying behavior. I
Mine is definitely not dual-headed, either.

I am experiencing this exact problem in Intrepid, with all updates
installed. So far, it has not gone away on its own. :)
If there's any additional info I can provide, please let me know.

I'm not sure if it is the same bug. I'm still experiencing with the latest

I'm pretty sure I was still experiencing this bug with the latest update,
but I can't check at the moment because a separate issue is preventing Gnome

Not as far as I can tell. I wasn't able to find any error messages or

I am not sure that it is the same. Jsteinhart's fix only partially fixed
the problem for me, but it sounds like it was successful for most of the
people there.
