2. Notice blank colorless human outline on first login profile and privilege
elevation GUI textboxes.
3. Go to settings.
4. Click Users.
5. Click icon next to username but don't click on any profile picture or even
the letter with color itself.

The last dependency in the chain is libgweather-common as noted above.
Can you please point out which specific file is required to run Gnome
shell? It works fine when force removed with dpkg and the schemas seem
to be for weather related features.

The dir in the home directory is named after the user. If your username
is user1, your home directory will be user1. If you change your username
in gnome-control-panel to user2, your home directory will still contain
user1 and not user2.
If you can't change it that way, then why bother having the
