Same here on my Inspiron 8600
i get the pretty colours and have unchanged error behaviour in 9.04 as i had in
8.10.
I would appreciate a fix.

When i try to hibernate with my Dell Inspiron 8600 nvidia FX 5650 go
graphics card the machine turns down quite smoothly from what i can
tell
but when i try to wake him back up i get a black screen with bleeding
white circels moving over the screen like a slow wave .
