The bug can be reproduced in the following way:
1) Install either the csmartindent plugin (attached) in ~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins
2) In GEdit, in the plugins list, you'll see the C indent plugin listed.
However, when you attempt to enable it, the checkbox becomes disabled. The
