okay, this is weird.
I have two bottom panels, one that is upper has icons for starting
applications, and bottom has windowlist.
on reboot panels switch place randomly and looks like there is no option to

You could try system --> settings --> appearance --> fonts --> advanced -->
goto font folder.
This is not what normal user would expect! ever! well i didn't.

Also running kde programs has same problem and no fonts either. Some times
program starts with normal, some times it's waay too wide.
I tried also running tilda, and same problem. Changing font doesn't help t

awful lot of work, but would ease use of menu and ubuntu.
