after logging into the user account in ubuntu, the laptop doesn't
connect to wireless networks when the additional drivers are installed.
i had to remove the additional drivers in order to connect to the
wireless network. i had logged in as an administrator.

I use a Lenovo Y560 on Natty Narwhal. And I see this issue every time.
Basically even if I set the brightness to 80-100% after a few seconds
the brightness will automatically dim to 10-20%. Sometimes after the
dim, the brightness will randomly go up again (without manual
intervention).
