The behaviour WAS, that opening any pdf took several minutes when it
opened at all, while everything else was working completely normal.
The issue is gone.
I did nothing to fix it. At least not on purpose.
"dbus-launch evince" works fine too.
The warning remains.

a side note about producing the backtrace:
i had some problems when following the instructions to install the debug
symbols.
my .gnupg folder was owned by root.
