So, I opened the Font preference tool and I choose a font in the list.
Never add any font.

I can't tell if it's a problem of the gnome-terminal or the fontconfig or... :
I'm a new Linux's user, not a programmer and a simple user who reported a
problem.

For the change to take effect, I must uncheck the box "Sounds for events" :
then, I won't hear a sound!
But if I want to choose what to hear and when in the second page, it doesn't
work at all. For example, I removed all sounds for error messages, opening
sound and I kept only sounds for the log
