thank you for your quick answer. The behaviour I just described comes
from launching TOTEM from "grun", a GTK launcher that I pop-up to start
program in my plain-vanilla-compiz environment. In fact, runnig TOTEM
from an xterm works well.
So, the problem is with grun, not a TOTEM b
