package gdm 2.30.2.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade:
underprosessen installerte post-removal skript returner
problem, and who was advised to reinstall gdm and xserv(?). I
ended up with re-installing lots of things from the terminal, and
finally it worked.
Sorry guys, but I am no techie, so this is the best response I can give
