Public bug reported:
I'm currently developing an application which uses GtkPopovers. It
works fine under GNOME Shell on Utopic 14.10 but under Unity text inside
the popover is blurry. I will attach screenshots indicating what I'm
talking about.
Oddly, the text inside a GtkButton displays fine.

I agree with Jens, as I understand things this is still a problem with
non-UOA spins. Could someone re-open the ticket?

I suspect you're seeing bug #1296275 and/or bug #1309891. It may be a
bug in gphoto2, the library Shotwell uses to communicate with cameras.
