I just broke my laptop and it hasn't been repaired. I'll let You know
once I have the missing info.

Hmm... I wanted to attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log but it doesn't go through

I observe this problem only when opening gnome-display-properties for the
second time after plugging the device.
However, even for the first time it does not work properly (e.x.) I am unable
to change the display.
Some config:
