yes i have to wait for about 1 minute for a page to load and everytime i scroll down. and that is the point. i don't have to wait if i use 'xpdf'. i really think this has to be sorted in evince as it is the default program in ubuntu for pdf files. also it would be preferable that evince can read *

if one has adobe writer one can insert comments at specific points of the text. these comments will pop up/shown as we scroll the document or when the mouse cursor is taken there. if one has adobe reader in can e seen properly, but in evince one can see it only as a small yellow icon. There is no
