Same issue here although I'm using Hardy.
Never used this before so I was setting up a test calendar. Created
private "test" calendar in google then in evolution,
create new calendar> choose google for the type >type "test" as calendar
name> type in username>use ssl
Events are not synching eithe
I have no idea of the above info or where it comes from or I would post
