This bug is related appears in bugs #35223, #34743 & #34897. The screen's brightness is automatically adjusted to maximum after each reboot of the system. I am using a Dell Inspiron 640m. The problem did not exist in Feisty Fawn. But after the decision to upgrade to Hardy Heron, it has surfaced.
