Okay. I just noticed that "PulseAudio Volume Control" did not install after upgrade from 8.04 to 9.04. I'm now able to record from different input streams once again, although it takes a lot of hoop-jumping. We could easily set it from the dropdown menu from the application being used, and now we

Would some one please point me the fix of this issue (only "capture" available in sound recorder)? I've spent many hours looking for it. BTW, It used to work fine on 7.10, but almost all the other options vanished after upgrade to 9.04. Any help or link would be highly appreciated. -- gnome-sound
