Fine, although not much information to relate: Ubuntu Hardy, Thinkpad T40 1. I select "monoscope" in the visualization options in the Totem preferences 2. I expect Totem to save that setting and remember it from now on 3. Totem remembers to use "monoscope" for a while but on a reboot or a hibern
