read and then closed the whole programme shuts down.

I am experiencing this issue with 10.10 when I try to access the

I ran the disk as a live disk. The version is 10.04LTS Desktop32-bit

It's happening to me right now. Don't know exactly how it started.
Aisleriot used to be able to flip between windowed/fullscreen mode OK,
but now it's stuck.
Using Gutsy, upgraded from installed Feisty version on Dell Inspiron
E1505 laptop.
After upgrade, program worked normally for several weeks.
Program now starts in Fullscreen mode. F11 or clicking "Leave
Fullscreen" button causes program to flick into windowed mode (no menu
line visible) and immed

Sorry, I meant to reference bug #128803 above. I've also tried killing gnome
panels as it recommends, but this does nothing.
Another side note is that no process is using CPU time, so I can only think
that the high CPU load is some sort of artificial inflation from IO?

gdm hangs after login
I left it on tonight at the brownish screen gdm stops at for about 12 hours,
and still nothing happened. I'm guessing this rules out it being related to bug
#61711, which I originally expected not to be the problem anyways.
As a side note, when I start gdm from the recovery console, it pops up wi
