running lucid and I have no plans to install or upgrade till next LTS.

This bug was introduced when the all-in-one shutdown cum logout dialog was
split into separate logout and shutdown dialogs.
Please reintroduce the earlier dialog as it is very convenient to have access
to all the shutdown and logout options using one keyboard shortcut.

In Ubuntu 10.04 password is optional during login, but when the computer wakes
from hibernation password is asked for, irrespective of whether it is required
during login or not.
Since I don't have the suspend option, I don't know what happens during
resuming from suspend
My problem is solved, but there is a problem with with serpentine's
message promt. When the available disk space is very low(in my case it
was only 100mb) serpentine's message prompt shows this cryptic message !
I transfered some of my files to a more spacious partition and the
problem is gone.

I am also experiencing exactly the same problem. I have installed feisty
from a livedvd and have not updated after installation. So I don't know
if the bug has been fixed in later updates.
