Since Evolution exists, isn't possible minimize evolution to Systray.
Ubuntu implements the notify applet to unify messenging facilities, but
different from Empathy or Gwibber, Evolution is aways on taskbar when
its open. A "Workarround" is use
Ive got the same problem in a Lucid instalation - until now without
solution:

Ubuntu Lucid show a popup when you umount the drive telling you the
drive can be safely unplugged. But if some process locks a file in the
drive, it show you a message telling which process and file are locked.
But this happens AFTER
This bug happens to me too. Someone said this bug not happens if
devicekit-disks is installed, but happened to me just after the

This bug happens here very frequently!
When gaim is still connected to the invisible user it's OK: I can reply.
But after about 1 minute gaim automatically disconnects and BOOM - The
gaim thinks the user is offline and I can't chat because gaim says "The
user is offline".
I think the fix isn't ve
