I can confirm this, it happens on any partition that is not your current
instalation's.
But is this a bug? When attempting to delete a file in Nautilus, if the
file is in another partition it will tell me that it cannot move the
file to the Trash folder. Maybe this behaviour is intentional?

My disk is not full but I started to get kernel error messages whenever I
browsed with nautilus (Not with Thunar) one particular disk partition (1.8TB)
and moving a tiny file from a directory to another would take ages.
Removing ~/.local/share/gvfs-metadata solved the problem! :-

I was able to track the cause of this problem and find a workaround that
seems to work.

The event deconfiguring-networking is fired whenever
"/etc/init.d/networking stop" is called.

nautilus doesn't crash, it simply stalls forever, neither finishing the
first copy operation nor starting the second one.
Because of not crashing, I have always to kill it, it is not going to

Sorry, I found the cause of the problem, I didn't replaced the "gutsy"
in "deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com gutsy main universe" with a "hardy".
But now how can I get a gdb backtrace if the program is not crashing. It
simply stalls without any output.
Instead of a backtrace, I have run it under strace

anything: xine was already using 'plug:surround51' and now I invoke mplayer
with 'plug:surround51' and still both applications cause alsa to output,
continuously, 'ALSA lib pcm_

related to the bug and I chose gstreamer0.8. Sorry I guessed wrong.
