I've tested with lucid as follow:
1) I've launched the live environment and setted up my imap account on
lucid live. evolution has done the job well for the few new emails
resident inside the imap server.
2) I've repeated the operation mounting my home from the HD in order to
load evolution setti

I use Evolution on Hardy Heron (8.04 LTS 64-bit) for my daily e-mail management
at university (I'm a researcher). usually I use the pop3 server, but I can
switch to the imap one without any problem if needed (our university provides
both serv
