well, actually i had the gtalk kind of feature in mind where in the
list, position of contacts keeps on updating as and when people come and
go but yeah you're right i didn't know the ctrl+h option so that would
work out as well...

I noticed that the contact list on empathy is static and arranged
alphabetically. It would be great to have it so that the people I talk
