Just an update for Aiptek users: The aapo patch works for my system.
I'm using an Aiptek 12000u USB hyperpad with Ubuntu Linux 11.10. I just
came from Lucid and nothing I did would work until I followed
stealthdeath's instructions (above) - they work like a charm - I have
full functionality withi
The thumbnailer was using up to 90% of my resources even though I was
not using Totem in any way. I clicked on STOP PROCESS on my system
monitor, which seems to have solved the problem.
