If you were talking about the pdf file I submitted, it works with adobe reader
8.1.2 on ubuntu.
I attach screenshots with evince & AR.
I suspect either some kind of pdf containing standard pdf page with
error message shown with 'old-style' viewer and alternate pdf format
only shown by ado
same thing with evince 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 with the attached pdf file

The attached jpeg file doesn't work as as cover if placed in a music album
folder and named 'Folder.jpg' or 'folder.jpeg' or 'cover.jpg'.
So to reproduce the bug :
- place this file in a music folder and rename it Folder.jpg
(hope it's easy enough)
Rhythmbox doesn't show it as the album cd cover
