As a workaround you can add "xset r rate 200 60" to /etc/rc.local before the exit 0 command. Google etc rc.local for more information. 200 is the delay and 60 is the repeat rate in milliseconds. (My settings). I think it problem should disappear if you connect your keyboard directly to the com
