The solution is to avoid GIMP setting itself as a PDF viewer: GIMP is not a
viewer.

For sure in v0.12.8-0ubuntu4 (the one I was using when I filed the bug) all

Nope. mine is a different case.
I have different versions for a WAV files in a directory.
In the very same directory I create a symlink to say which WAV file is
currently the latest one.
So the symlink is in the same directory as the target file.

With 0.9.1 it says in a dialog:
"The Track will be padded at its end. The track is shorter than 6 seconds".
Of course, the track is much longer than 6 seconds.
If I convert that WAV to MPĀ£, than the burning goes fine. So I suspect it's
just an error in recognizing the actual lenght of

I can kill (only SIGSTOP, SIGCONT and SIGKILL I presume) and re-nice processes.
But I cannot re-ionice any.
I would say this is a missing feature more than a bug, but I feel it's a big
miss as Linux supports io scheduling priorities
My problem was related to a series of broken RAR archives which cannot be
opened with either the command line tools or the Windows tools.
The "bug" can be closed.

As reported, when trying to add the applet to the panel, nothing happens.
I've discovered that there is a core file in my home and it gets generated
whenever I try to add the applet.
I hope it will help and I enclose it here.

The core file is dumped by the gnome-panel not by the glipper applet.

Despite being a very popular archive/compression format, Archive Manager 2.24.1
doesn't support RAR.
At least an option to install p7zip and its RAR module for un-archiving would
be nice.
