Just a theory: Could it be that the routine that determines the move by
the computer player comes up with illegal moves? Since the level three
computer player sometimes suddenly comes up with weird stupid moves,
could it be that it comes up with illegal moves as well? That would
explain why it look

I am not sure if this is related into this but after that update that
messed things up when I reboot & log into my system I now get a "Gdm-
simple-greeter" error. On top of the window says Metacity.
