Sorry to double post, but here is a proper backtrace from the nautilus-
dbg package.
(I noticed Sam was having a little trouble with it. The trick is to use
the bt command before killing the program. Since nautilus hangs, I had
to use ctrl+c (SIGINTERRUPT) in order to do a bt. =])

it freezes, and in the build/ directory of an scons project, it only
does so when hidden files are switched on. I also found that if I create
an image with the gimp while the folder I save it in is open, nautilus

Have had lots of problems after updating to latest kernal (15) in Hardy
- before that (12?) it was very stable. Also the menu option "Other"
has disappeared and will not re-introduce itself even when ticked in
System>Preference>Menu - which stops me adjusting screen resolution
higher than 800X600.
