After installing updates, the problem seems to have gone away. The bug
report can be closed for now.

Pedro, sorry but I don't understand the instructions in the wiki. I got
as far as step 5, but don't understand what I'm supposed to substitute
for 'yelp.' And am I supposed to substitute that for 'yelp' in all the
subsequent steps?

The trash icon (trash applet?) says there are 43 items in trash. I click
on the icon. Trash-Browser lists nothing. The Browser hangs and I have
to Force Quit to close it. The Browser works fine otherwise. I can see
the files if I go ~./.local/Tr
