The subsequent tabs have the same aliases as the 1st tab here. The only
difference is that you don't get teleported back to $HOME when you open
a new tab. Anything in .bashrc gets exported in the new tab though.

Your script has a bug - a URI is not the same as a directory.
cd file:///home/user/Desktop
is not the same as:
cd /home/user/Desktop
"cd" is an old skool program that knows not of URIs. Use some sed in there and
it'll work:

I had this problem and assumed it was caused by upgrading Breezy (with
OOo2) to Dapper (with OOo) and having customised the menu.
The "Open With" property list seems to be editable per file type - in
nautilus right click a document or spread sheet and open the tab "Open
With". There, remove the OO

I noticed this too. The CTRL+W trick is a fair work around.

In the version of Rhythmbox in Breezy, clicking the X in the top left
hand of the window sent the application to the tray. In Dapper, it
simply closes (quits) the application. Sending to the tray was a nice
feature in Breezy and it is a shame it
