Just logging in to confirm this.
Using an up to date Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS with the standard GNOME desktop,
Firefox 141.0-2, and nautilus 1:42.6-0ubuntu2, I tried to upload an
image to Google Image Search, but the file picker dialog didn't show up.
I then tried to open Files, which didn't show up, ei

desktop to connect to an Ubuntu 14.04 with a gnome-session doesn't work.
It is now May 31, 2016, it *still* doesn't work. That's why I'm here.
The problem description was since changed and a fix was developed for a later
