https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/912909 .
Could you try a couple of things?
First, it would help to get a stack trace. Open a terminal and run

I'm not sure this is still an issue.
A "/" in the name of the file is interpreted as trying to save in a

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
I can't reproduce this. This is most likely not a bug in gnome-terminal,
but a problem with the shortcuts set on your machine or something
related.
Please use askubuntu.com or ubuntuforums.org for getting help with this.

you can delete them from inside Rhythmbox (right click->Move To Trash).

Hello,
Thanks for reporting this. It would be helpful if you could install
debug symbols also for glib-2.0 and get a new stacktrace. Maybe some
other debug packages are needed afterwards also - see

Hello,
Can you please add a stacktrace to your report?
To do this, launch GIMP from the command line, with the flag --stack-
trace-mode=yes. Now when GIMP crashes, you'll see a question in the
terminal asking you if you want to print a stack trace. Print it and
attach it to your bug report.

Hello,
Can you please follow these steps, to provide more information about
the crash?
Install debug symbols for GLib and GTK+ if possible. On Ubuntu, you
can do this by installing the libglib2.0-0-dbg and libgtk2.0-0-dbg
packages.
Run Shotwell under GDB:
