At least, installing http://code.google.com/p/gdk-pixbuf-psd/ would enable EoG
and Gthumb previews.
AFAIK, Gloobus Preview has already implemented preview using it.
Otherwise, is there such a project to overhaul thumbnailing, this bug could be
filed against?
Could it be a GIMP bug as suggested upstream ?
