If the bug is fixed, can it be backported to the LTS? As rhythmbox is part of
the default application set and a playing CDs a major feature of a music
player.
This bug is also marked, that it affects OEM Priority Projects. But the bug is
stalled since almost a year. Why?

@Mike Levine: that a bug is fixed doesn't mean it will be fixed in your current
app. New features and regular bugfixes will appear in future versions of a
package.
Security relevant fixes and some important bugs will get backported to current
versions and updated in stable releases.

Now that it's too late to change it back, I thought over it and how it
could be solved intuitively.
When you click on the right side of the buttons, it should switch to
text mode, and back after leaving it. additionally it could set the
cursor to the right position if you click on the space in bet
The problem with Ctrl+L is, that almost nobody knows it. I found it
here. And I am almost angry, that some developers who think they know
better remove such a every-day use feature. Sometimes i like to paste a
url, and when i know where i want to go, your much faster in text mode
than with searchin

After resizing the Virtualbox-Window (especially on leaving full-screen mode,
and after new login), the bottom panel was on top, once below the top and next
time above the top panel.
Also the Notification area jumped to the right of the user
still a problem with jaunty, also occurs when you manually hide a panel
with the hide-buttons.

The bugs importance is higher.
If you don't have the rights to access the root folder, you get an ugly error.
pasting the path doesn't work neither.
