I've relocated the bottom panel to right hand side.
Usually the hang occurs when there are a lot of programs running in Gnome.
It seems that a new mail notification by Evolution may launch the problem, or a
cron j

Often gnome-panel hangs on my fujitu u9200. UI gets unresponsive. Only
way is to use CTRL+TAB to find already opened terminal window and
restart the process by invoking `killall -HUP gnome-panel`.

While installing Ubuntu 5.04 I chose timezone as Europe/Helsinki.
After installation has finished I check the timezone from (Gnome) Clock. It says
that the timezone is Europe/Marienhamn, which is wrong.
