Hi: apologies for the somwhat flip comment in the bug report: I may have
been frustrated by not being able to find the right component.

instructions https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport I found to enable it don't seem
to have worked.
I don't get the expected GUI upon crash and var/crash is entirely empty.
Is there anything else I can do?
